Simple, effective and easy to tie this green peacock and hare wet fly is a winner. Trout love it and if you tie it on small hooks will work on grayling too.
The hackle is made with Hare guard fur, a material that i love more and more for his versatility, for his colors, pigmentation and because is easy to find. This kind of hackle with his special structure works great on medium and fast flowing currents when hen hackle is not the best.
Materials:
- Hook: short shank wet fly BL #12
- Thread Spot: Glo Brite in chartreuse
- Body: peacock quill ( tips from the eyes )
- Hackle: Hare guard fur in natural color
