I don’t know about you, but for me, buggy flies always hold a special place in my fly box. Maybe it’s just me, but when I see deep, rocky water with green or dark algae, these flies get the job done every time. They’ve helped me catch some real beauties!

Here are the fly tying materials I use to make it:
- Hook : curved in size #10/12/14 . I used a Demmon G600 BL in size #12
- Thread: Sumo Power 50DEN
- Tinsel :Perdigon UV Flat tinsel Blue
- Ribbing: Tinsel Medium in gold
- Body: Mad Rabbit Dubbing in olive with a little bit of yellow mad rabbit dubbing
- Thorax: Mad Rabbit Dubbing Plus in black
- Hot Spot: orange hot spot thread
