Video Split Thread Technique – Tying a Small CDC Danica Mayfly

0 No tags Permalink

This fly is tied as delicate as possible: the body is made entirely from thread to keep it slim and natural, and for the hackle I’ve combined CDC and mallard for a soft, elegant profile. I’m also using the Micro Split Thread technique to achieve that fine, balanced look — perfect for targeting selective trout during subtle mayfly hatches.
