This is not the easiest emerger to tie but works excellent in all kind of waters and trout seems to love it. I had great results in rivers from Italy, Poland and Sweden and I had entire evenings with trout eating mainly this fly.
It is in my box all the time and when I see trout being shy and eating careful I switch on this model without waiting too much time to test other flies.
Recipe:
Hook – Barbless: Demmon 602 #12-16
Tying thread – Uni 8/0 brown
Body: Quill brown
Thorax: Spiky natural colored dubbing
Wing: CDC in tobacco fixed in loop
Tail: Krystal flash in white UV
