Tying a GRHE Bug with CDC Hackle

Materials:
Hook: Demmon DGH 900 BL #10-16
Thread: Fluo Orange
Body: Troutline Mad Rabbit Dubbing or Spiky Dubb in natural color
Ribbing: UV White Ribbing fiber
Thorax Dubbing: Troutline Thorax Dubbing Dark
Hackle: CDC Khaki Campbell, natural mallard grey or dyed grey Campbell

Our tricks:
* just let the barbs of the CDC long enough to move better in water. Even if it’s look odd the fly will catch more in this way. The “classic rules” to keep the proportions fixed will restrict the creativity and efficiency. Using also called “dry flies hackle” in tying nymphs can be strange but some flies are more effective by far 🙂
