Tying Recipe and materials:

Hook: Demmon DGH 900BL #10-#14
Thread: Cream, Rusty and Dark Brown
Body: Troutline Catgut Biothread – natural color
Bead: – tungsten in gold
Thorax: Red and Black Loch dubbing combined with rusty brown squirrel dubbing

Fishing tips:

*it is a nymph that works when caddis insects are all over – practically in Spring and SUmmer time
*it id perfect for fishing using any style of nymphing
*the Tricolor Catgut Caddis Pupae is efficient with Czech style of nymphing
*the nymph should be used fast flowing parts of rivers behind big rocks and stones
*we recommend to jig it and play it as much as possible.
*the fly works in dead drifting
*the fly can be combined with any classic nymph like GRHE nymph, caddis pupae and wet flies in the same time

The fly looks amazing when is wet ( after 3-5 minutes )

      Hi Klaus, thanks for your kind words. Make it because works fantastic at trout in this period of time. A different one is tied with underbody thread in yellow and olive. Works great too!
