The name given at this nymph is improper. Dan the cook and Misu use this name and as a consequence I started using it too. The polish nymphs are known to be the crochet ones, they are world-wide famous both for their difficult tying and realism.
This nymph is nothing else than a modified PT(pheasant tail, which I've first saw on the polish web-sites. I've also seen it in Ghimi's flybox. He bought it last year from Poland when he went fishing on San. I don't know the reason why Dan decided to call it like that. When I asked him he simply said that this is the way he like to call it and end od discussion. This new given name becam popular between my group of fishermen as it is more easy to call it like this while fishing than start an endless explanation:a PT nymph with this and that modifications.
