Autumn has come. The rivers are very clear (theoretically) and low after the droughty summer. The fishing period for trout has reach its end so what has left is the grayling in the public waters. During the day or in the afternoon, the grayling likes to catch the emergers located in the water before the flies have time to emerge completely. Those who have enough time to look at the water carefully for several days, will notice the graylings rising from time to time. They are actually making tiny whirlpools while they are hunting emergers.

Now I will show you 3 wet flies that are very common in Romania but also abroad.

The wet fly of the Cris:

Thread: black or grey 8/0

Body: light yellow or cream-colored thread and black body thread ( Benechi in this case)
